Yes indeed, Dr. Paul A. Witherspoon turns 90 today. Dr. Witherspoon is a Professor Emeritus with the Department of Material Sciences and Engineering, UC Berkeley and Geological Senior Faculty Scientist with Berkeley Lab, Earth Sciences Division.
